Report Dump

The Report Dump software is installed by default. It has two main functions for Workforce Management:

  1. It converts Planned and Actual Event data to a timeline, so the data can be queried more easily by report writers. (Writing queries on hierarchical events is possible, but difficult and time-consuming.)

  2. It computes the adherence Measure used in Workforce Management (WFM) to determine how well an employee’s scheduled activities match their actual, real-time activities. timeline. The adherence timeline calculation is complex and cannot be performed within a query.

The Report Dump consists of an Adherence Dump, a Timeseries Dump. and a Timeoff Dump.

  • The Adherence Report dump is mainly for the Adherence and Staffing Reports. But it can also affect other reports (some Time Off Reports). Basically, it affects any report (or ad hoc model) that uses the PLANNEDEVENTTIMELINE, ACTUALEVENTTIMELINE, or ADHERENCEEXCEPTIONS tables. A specific adapter is assigned to this data dump. By default, the Report Dump software retrieves data for the last 30 days. This setting can be modified.

  • The Time Series Report Dump affects the following:

    • All Performance Reports

    • Most Outbound Performance Reports

    • The Performance Statistics query subject in the Ad Hoc reports

    • Some Operations Reports (Capacity Plan, Daily Production, Intraday Productivity)

    The Net Staffing and the Service Level Heat Map reports do not use the report dump because they query the raw tables directly.

    By default, the [BPMAINDB] Timeseries Report ETL Job runs every 15 minutes and only processes data that changed from the last run. To avoid conflict with database heavy operations such as index Repository of transcribed interactions, which are used for analysis in Speech Analytics. maintenance that run during the maintenance window, data is not processed during the daily and weekly Maintenance Windows. These maintenance windows are set in the Enterprise Settings.

  • The Time Off Report Dump is only for the two Time Off Summary reports. It dumps the Used, Scheduled, Remaining, Carryover, and Pending hours into the EMPLOYEETIMEOFFALLOTMENT table for Time Off Summary reports. A specific adapter is assigned to this data dump. By default, the Report Dump software retrieves data for the last 30 days. This setting can be modified.
