Manage events by grouping schedule information

The Mass Schedule Editor Tool in WFM that allows adding, editing or deleting scheduled events by filtering and grouping calendar information. Adding and editing events in the Mass Schedule Editor

You can add non-recurring (single instance) calendar, time off and unavailability events with one attendee only. In addition, you can add shifts without OT extensions and shift Work period in WFM that has a definite length. events.

You can edit instances of a recurring series, but you cannot edit the series itself. Once you edit the recurring instance, you cannot undo the edited recurring events or the recurring event series.

You cannot view or edit recurring floating calendar events in the Mass Schedule Editor.

Procedure 

  1. Go to Forecasting and Scheduling. Under Calendar, select Mass Schedule Editor.

  2. From Selection Filters on the left pane, select the employees, date range, and events for which you want to view and manage scheduled events.

  3. Select View.

    The system displays scheduled events according to the selected filters.

  4. To further group the list according to different attribute, from the Group By field, select the relevant attribute.

    For example, you can group the events by Employee Name or Employee ID.

  5. Determine the next step:

    • To add an event: Select Add, select one or multiple employees, and select Update.

    • To edit an existing event: 

    • To delete an existing event:

      • Select the event you want to delete and select Delete.

      • At the prompt, select Yes to delete the event.

        The system displays the successful updates in green, and the failed updates in red. In the Status column, the successful updates are indicated by a green check mark, and the failed updates are indicated by a red x.

        To view information about the failed updates, hover over the red x status icon. The system displays the reason for the failure. To sort by the status of the update, select the Status column.

The Mass Schedule Editor allows you to take action on multiple events, which can take time (depending on the number of events). Stay on the page until you receive a confirmation message that the operation you are doing is complete.
