Peer Value
Peer Value represents the benchmark score based on the benchmark group (Peer Group) and the calculation method in use (Peer Type). The type of calculation to be performed include:
-
Percentile: The percent of the Peer Group that you scored higher than.
-
Rank: An employee or organization is ranked against the total number of employees or organizations in the group; for example, 2 of 5. Rank is calculated according to the following logic (in order): (1) Based on Score; (2) Within employees with same score, based on the ratio between Actual and Goal; (3) Within employees with the same ratio – based on actual value.
-
Median: A score with an equal number of scores higher and lower when the list of peers contains an odd number of peers. When the list of peers contains an even number of peers, the two middle numbers are divided by 2.
-
Mode: The most frequently repeated actual value from the peer list. If more than one actual value repeats for the same number of times, then no peer value is provided.
-
Mean: The average actual value of all entities included in the calculation
-
None: Allows you to disable peer benchmarking for the selected KPI if it was previously enabled. No peer benchmarking data is then displayed for this KPI.
