Staff Mix Filter

Set staff mix plan parameter filter constraints to assist in defining the optimal staff mix goal per branch.

Constraints

Element

Description

Head Count

Head Count filter constraints:

Full Time (# Below = 0, # Above = 1000)

Part Time (# Below = 0, # Above = 1000)

Peak Time (# Below = 0, # Above = 1000)

Percent Head Count

Percent Head Count filter constraints:

Full Time (Min = 0, Max = 100)

Part Time (Min = 0, Max = 100)

Peak Time (Min = 0, Max = 100)

Percent FTE

Percent FTE filter constraints:

Full Time (Min = 0, Max = 100)

Part Time (Min = 0, Max = 100)

Peak Time (Min = 0, Max = 100)

When Percent FTE is defined with no other constraints being used, the filter will return one result per branch that is closest to the Percent FTE for each employee type. Example: 80% Full Time, 15% Part Time and 5% Peak Time.

Head Count Compared to Actual

Head Count Compared to Actual filter constraints:

Full Time (# Below = 1000, # Above = 1000)

Part Time (# Below = 1000, # Above = 1000)

Peak Time (# Below = 1000, # Above = 1000)

Head Count Compared to Budgeted

Head Count Compared to Budget filter constraints:

Full Time (# Below = 1000, # Above = 1000)

Part Time (# Below = 1000, # Above = 1000)

Peak Time (# Below = 1000, # Above = 1000)

Forecast Feature in WFM used to estimate the required resources for a specific scheduling period based on historical data. The data in a forecast includes interaction and work volume, and Average Handling Time (AHT).

Max % Overstaffed (default = 1000) filter constraint

Lowest Cost

Element

Description

Max Staff Mixes Include

Max Staff Mixes Include (Lowest N Options Based on Cost, default = 50) filter constraint

Closest To

Element

Description

Include Staff Mix Closest To

Automatically target a staff mix closest to:

  • Head Counts in Actual Staff Mix

  • Head Counts in Budgeted Staff Mix

  • Custom FTE Distribution

  • Full Time (default = 0)

  • Part Time (default = 0)

  • Peak Time (default = 0)

When the %FTE option is selected with no other constraints being used, the filter will return one result per branch that is closest to the percent of FTE for each employee type entered. Example: 80% FT, 15% PT and 5% FX.
