Desktop and Process Analytics

DPA (Desktop and Process Analytics) can recognize events that occur in software applications and use these occurrences to trigger other actions. The actions triggered can notify a supervisor of a critical event, remind an employee to up-sell on a product order, or enforce a compliance-related action.

Desktop Analysis Alerts support notifications by means of email, desktop message, or through Work Assist and when combined with a DPA trigger, you can also generate a DPA notification action. They can also trigger Desktop Messaging Application that allows sending pop-up messages to employees by selecting the recipients' name, login or role within the organization. If you plan to create DPA events that trigger Desktop Analysis alerts, first set up a DPA trigger using the Notify WFO Alert trigger command.

Select the Enabled box. The rule must be enabled to be used in a DPA alert.
Select a rule type of Desktop Analysis Alert.
Configure the action to notify recipients by means of email, a Desktop Messaging Alert, Work Assist Notifier Alert, or a DPA Alert.
