Restore the SSRS Encryption Key
Procedure 9 of 23 associated with Step 2 - Change the Computer Name, Domain, or Workgroup of an Individual Managed server.
In this procedure, you:

Restore the SSRS Encryption Key on the server that hosts the Reporting Services database. You restore the Encryption Key that you backed up in the procedure Back up the SSRS Encryption Key.

Test the Web Service URL used to access the Report Server. This step verifies connectivity with the Report Server after restoration of the encryption key.

On the computer running SQL Server that hosts the Reporting Services database, open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
Click Start > All Programs > Microsoft SQL Server R2 > Configuration Tools > Reporting Services Configuration Manager.

Click Yes when prompted to allow the program to make changes to this computer.

In the Reporting Services Configuration Connection screen, click Connect to connect to the Report Server Instance that hosts the Reporting Services database.

In the Reporting Services Configuration Manager, click Encryption Keys in the left pane.

In the Restore section, click Restore.

In the Restore Encryption Key screen, do the following:

File Location: - Open the directory in which you stored the Encryption Key backup file, and select the backup file. Click Open.

Password: - Enter the password that you specified to protect the Encryption Key backup from unauthorized access. Click OK.

Test the Web Service URL used to access the Report Server.

Click Web Service URL in the left pane.

Under Report Server Web Service URLs in the right pane, click on the URL.

On the SQL Server Reporting Services - Report Server login page, enter the User Name and Password of the MSA and click Logon. Verify that the connection to the Report Server is successful.

Click Exit.
