Rollback the configuration changes workflow

If you have disabled the TCP/IP and IP Monitoring services, you can perform the procedures in this workflow to roll back those configuration changes. These procedures re-enable the TCP/IP and IP Monitoring services.

Workflow 

  1. Enable the TCP/IP service

    Enable the Windows TCP/IP services from the Windows Control Panel on each application server in the application server cluster.

  2. Enable IP monitoring

    To enable the Monitoring services, update the tangosol-coherence.xml file on all application servers in the application server cluster.

  3. Restart application servers after rolling back configuration changes

    Restart all application servers in the application server cluster.

  4. Confirm the TCP/IP service is enabled

    Verify that the TCP/IP service is enabled by accessing the coherence logs.

  5. Sanity tests after rolling back configuration changes

    Perform three tests to verify that the coherence cache is working after making the configuration changes described so far. For instructions see, Sanity tests after disabling services.
